Lock in Loose Fitting Dentures

Loose fitting dentures can be a real concern. But with the “mini-implant,” results are FAST, EASY, and MUCH less expensive than conventional implants.

There usually aren’t even any incisions made in the gum to place these implants, so there is no conventional surgery.  And the implants can be utilized immediately.  There is no healing time to have to wait for.  It truly is amazing. 

Look younger with implants

When the jawbones have shrunken over a number of years, full-size dentures have little to sit on and will not stay in place. But smaller dentures give the appearance of advanced age and debilitation.  Implants provide the means to firmly snap dentures in place.  This means we can restore cosmetics of the face and smile, and means that the patient can comfortably speak, eat….and SMILE!

This patient’s jaws had shrunken so much that she was unable to keep her dentures in place during eating, and she had lost 35 pounds in the previous year.  Notice how her facial features are now filled out.  It’s as if we’ve taken twenty years off her age.  And most importantly, after placement of her implant-fastened dentures, she was able to eat virtually anything with complete comfort.  She even jokingly threatened to bite me once!

With the mini-dental implants, not only are they fast, easy, and do not require conventional surgery, but most often we can even utilize the existing dentures, without having to make new ones.  Usually in one short visit, we can install the mini implants, and the patient can comfortably eat with the dentures that same evening.
